To learn more: If you represent an agency located in and serving the citizens of in Collin County, have an approved 501(c)3 status, and have been operating and serving the needs of Collin County for a minimum of three years, you may be eligible to apply for funding from Star. 

Our Belief
Star Children’s Charity is founded on the belief that all children should have hope for their future and receive assistance when they are in need. Whether it’s for basic life needs or medically, academically or educationally related needs, we want to help provide a foundation for the children of our community to compete globally. It is with this focus in mind that we endeavor to support the non-profit organizations serving the children and families of Collin County

Making it Happen
Star Children’s Charity provides financial support to various Collin County agencies whose mission is to serve the needs of children and families.  These beneficiary recipients will vary from year to year and will be considered by application only.

Criteria for Consideration 
If you have a project or program in Collin County that fits the following criteria, we urge you to apply.
• Programs and projects must be focused on the care, development or welfare of children
• Organization must have a base in Collin County and serve the children of Collin County
• Organization must be operating under a 501(c)3 determination and have been serving Collin County children for a minimum of 3 years
• A comprehensive plan must be available to include how funds will be raised for the project and a % of funding must have already been received
• A seat on your organizations’ Advisory Board or Board of Directors for Star Children’s Charity member for at least two years following the distribution of funds must be available
